Initial Sketches

This is an experimental drawing of a red Indian. a study from internet research. I wanted to create a concept design of the main character of the game, using shading to show detail and give it a more complete look.

This is an experimental drawing of a totem pole. a study from internet research. I wanted to understand the structure of a totem pole in the hope of developing one of my own design to put into the game. I used a bit of shading for the design of the pole.

This is the final design for the totem pole that I am going to put into the game. a study from my previous
design.
I wanted to make the pole suit the animals I'm going to use. I didn't use any particular
technique for this one.

This is an experimental drawing of a teepee.
study from internet research. I wanted to create
a simple teepee to put into the game. I used a bit
of shading for the design at the bottom and top
of the teepee and for the folds in the fabric

This is the first story board I made for my game. I wanted to create a basic understanding of how my game was going to work (for my original idea which I intend to develop further)

This is an updated version of my story board a study from my previous design. for this I wanted to create a more detailed illustration of what will happen in the game.

This is an experimental drawing of a wolf, one of the animals I intend to use in my game. a study from internet research and physical interaction with them. I wanted to create some concept art / character design,
using a lot of shading to show detail in the fur and shadow to give it a more realistic look.

These are experimental drawings of an owl, and a butterfly two more of the animals I intend to use in my game. a study from internet research and physical interaction with them. I wanted to create some concept art / character design, using a lot of shading and smudging to show detail in the feathers and shadow for the owl and the detail on the body and wings of the butterfly to give them a more realistic look.
These are experimental drawings of a snake and a bison. the snake I am deferentially going to use in my game the bison I'm not sure about.
a study from internet research and physical interaction with them.

I wanted to create some concept art / character design, using a lot of shading and smudging to show detail in the feathers and shadow for the owl and the detail on the body and wings of the butterfly to give them a more realistic look.

This is an observational drawing from a photograph I took of a teepee during my trip to France. (the person coming out of it is supposed to be me :/) I want to use this to gain a better understanding of how a teepee is built. I used a bit of shading for the grass around the teepee and for the folds in the fabric.

These are observational drawings from photographs I took during my trip to France. these drawings are of a bison skull which was hanging on the wall in a shop, and one of those feather hats which was in a display case at the entrance of the hotel I want to use this to learn how to draw one of these hats for my character.
