Presentation Plan
Most artists present and display their work in art galleries and museums.
Other artists show their work using an online bolg, or their own website, like Dan Luvisi for example. Dan Luvisi is a creature and character designer who has influenced me when I create creatures of my own.
My project was a game so ideally I would have a screen with a preview / game-play video. I'de also have a computer or two available so people could play it. I've also got a bit of concept work so I could place them around the screen, above the screen, next to the screen, or below the screen, I'm not sure where exactly yet.
My ideal audience would probably be teenagers. It's not inappropriate for children, but it's not necessarily something that they would be interested in playing.
Here is a plan of what I had planed for how I intend to present my work: Three pieces of concept art and a screen with either a video of the game, or the actual game so people can play it if they wish.
I would probably invite my mum and sister to the show, they're not part of any industry involving games or anything but they have been waiting for this since the start.
I could use my blog to advertise / show my game and my art work. I could also make a website, or I could make a demo version of the game and post it on the Steam workshop.

Photoshop
For this project I used Photoshop for all the design work of the characters, creatures, objects and environment for the game. I am no stranger to Photoshop, I have been using Photoshop ever since I started this course. I can only use Photoshop at collage, however I have used it a lot so I know how it works.
I started by designing the creatures that you would become in the game. These creatures are the wolf, the owl, the snake and the butterfly. After I finished designing them, I started designing the main character.
Construct 2
This project was the second time I had used Construct. I had already learned how to make a top view shoot-em-up game, however that is not what I wanted to do for this project. I wanted to make a side scrolling fantasy game. For the top view game the programming was relatively easy, However for a side scroller it was more difficult, I needed to set the controls of the character to work in a platformer game, I needed create a platform for the character to walk on and I needed to design the levels from the side which was surprisingly difficult.
Whilst making this game I learned how to give animations to the characters. just open the animations tab, put in the same sprite, frame by frame in a different position each time which took a long time to do. However, I kept having the same problem every time I tried to give the characters animations; the program kept crashing, it wouldn't save properly, and it would take ages to load. Eventually I decided not to put animations into the game because it was not going to work, However in saying that: When I was making the last level of my game I figured out why it wasn't working. The sprites I was loading in where too big, I was making them on Photoshop with 300 resolution, I realised that I could move them to 100 resolution and that would make the sprites smaller and therefore Construct was able to cope.
